• Camera 1 – Game Follow

    • Wide shot that will keep between around 35% of the ice in frame.  A wide shot that will provide general coverage of the gameplay.
  • Camera 2 – Tight Follow

    • Tight head-to-toe shot of the player with the puck and 1-2 closest defenders.  Will follow the player at fault after a penalty.  Will also stay with the scoring player after a goal, or the goalie after a save.
  • Camera 3 – Slash

    • Usually positioned on a mid level concourse, between the floor level and the camera 1&2 position.  Typically framed similar to game follow during action on the close end of the floor.  Usually shoots a little tighter on the far end of the floor.  During stoppage in play, will find a close up of the hero, coach or other appropriate player.  Also responsible for shooting wide beauty shots.
  • Camera 4 – High Endzone

    • Typically framed similar to game follow.  Provides a different angle to view the action from.  Particularly useful for goal replays.
  • Camera 5 – Hand Held

    • Typically will stay at one location against the glass..  Will follow action from their position on the sidelines.  Typically wide enough to see a few players.  Should follow the puck, especially if the play is coming towards their camera.  Particularly good for getting an up close look at the action against the glass.
